Support Gary Meyer's Road to Recovery

Hello, my name is Tammy and my brother is Gary Meyer. My entire life Gary has always been there for me and many of you can say the same. I am sure Gary has touched your life in some way over the years; whether it was building a house, loaning you a tool, giving you advice on a home improvement project or just sharing one of his great stories. Seems he has always tried to help when he can in any situation. Today I am writing because Gary needs our help.
Gary was involved in an accident about 2 weeks ago. He was working in Breckenridge MN building a duplex. There was an issue setting trusses and they landed in his lap. Not the best place for trusses to land.
Gary was in great pain, but still managed to walk to the pickup and was given a ride to the hospital. At the hospital in Breckenridge, they did x-rays and found there was an issue with Gary's pelvis. The hospital stated he would need to go to Sanford in Fargo. He was taken by ambulance to Fargo. (Gary tells this story much better than I do)
Sanford did an MRI and found Gary had a fractured pelvis and the ligaments and tendons were torn or stretched loose from his pelvis. He had surgery to repair his pelvis on August 22. After surgery he was told he could not apply any pressure on the pelvis for 6 - 8 weeks. That means he has to remain in bed or in a wheel chair for the next 6 - 8 weeks.
As you can imagine this has all been very hard for Gary. Having the accident, having surgery, having to lay in bed and leaving a job unfinished.
My sisters, myself and Theresa Heiser are asking for your help to cover the cost of lost income and medical bills. Gary is going to have a long road ahead of him with therapy and follow up medical visits. He will be unable to return to work for at least 12 weeks and then on a limited basis.
Please donate to Gary's recovery. We are all hoping it will be a speedy one.
Thank you
