Help Gary LaBonte Fight Stage 3 Cancer

Hi, my name is Desirae Gerou, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my grandfather, Gary LaBonte, who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 carcinoma. At 72 years old, he’s facing one of the biggest challenges of his life and I’m hoping we can rally around him to provide the support he needs to get through this.

Gary isn’t just my grandfather, he’s a father to three, a grandfather to six, and a great-grandfather to two. He’s helped raise me and was one of my favorite people growing up. He’s always been a steady, loving presence in our family. The kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need.

Now, he needs our help.

Gary is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and the cost of his treatment alone is $6,682. Like many families facing cancer, we’re struggling to keep up with the mounting medical expenses. My goal with this fundraiser is to help take some of that financial stress off of him so he can focus on what matters most: his health and getting better.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering the cost of his chemotherapy treatments. Any amount no matter how small will make a real difference for him and our family. If you’re not able to give, a share means just as much to us.
