Gary's family invites you to join them in celebrating his life on Saturday March 28, 3-6pm, at Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists. Programming will commence at 4pm.

Parking in the area is sparse so you are encouraged to carpool or use public transit.

Afterwards join together again at a post-memorial gathering at the Heart and Dagger

Gary Krieger, a beloved father, recently passed away. Leaving his family to navigate the deep grief and unexpected responsibilities that come with such a loss. His daughter Gessika has always been someone who shows up for others, and now it is our turn to rally around her and show the strength of our community.

From Gary's daughter Gessika, " We are very grateful for the community that showed my dad and us so much love over the years. He was a pillar in the club, 12 step and queer communities and we are incredibly honored for the ways they have supported him and us throughout the years."

In addition to the emotional weight of saying goodbye, there are immediate financial and logistical challenges, funeral and memorial expenses, estate related costs, time away from work and the many details that must be handled during a really hard time.

This family has long been one that shows up for community offering support, and care when it’s needed. Now it’s our turn to surround them with that same strength and compassion.
