Support Gary Inman's Family After Helene

You have heard that Hurricane Helene hit our area hard. Rockmont had lots of property damage, but we have managed to make some significant progress in restoring our property thanks to our hardworking staff and volunteers. However, one of those staff members, Gary Inman, has not been able to recover as quickly. Gary is an integral part of the beauty of Rockmont. He has worked here, keeping things looking great, for as long as any of us can remember. His father, Clarence, worked as the caretaker since the very beginning, and currently, he and his brother, Rick, do all the mowing, weed-eating, painting, and general upkeep of our beautiful campus.

Gary's house was flooded and therefore condemned, and his family ended up losing everything except the clothes they had on when they evacuated, some pictures that they were able to salvage that were hanging on the walls, and some china that was on the top shelf of their hutch.

Thankfully, he has insurance, but they are only giving him $69,000 to replace his home and $34,000 to replace all his belongings. However, he still owes about $50,000 on the house, so that doesn't leave them much to completely start over. FEMA has not kicked in and settled anything with him because they wait for insurance to kick in first, so he will eventually get some help from them, but not sure how much or when.

Therefore, we'd like to offer you the chance to work with us to help Gary financially so he and his wife, Denise, and stepson, Brian, can get back into a home and begin to recover from their complete loss. If we could help pay off the money he still owes on his condemned home, that would give them a bunch better start and hope for a more complete recovery.
