On May 26th, our community lost a truly special person. Suzi passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind her loving husband Gary her dog Brewski and a circle of friends and family who are heartbroken by her sudden loss.

Suzi was more than a familiar face — she was a friend to so many. Whether you knew her personally or simply saw her smiling behind the deli counter at Lira’s, you knew Suzi brought warmth, kindness, and joy to everyone she met.

Now, we’re coming together to support Gary as he navigates this incredibly difficult time. The sudden nature of Suzi’s passing has left him not only grieving, but also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses.

We’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help ease that burden and allow Gary to give Suzi the beautiful, heartfelt farewell she deserves. Every contribution — no matter how big or small — will make a meaningful difference.
