Support Gary Holland

Hello all- I wanted to put this GoFundMe out there for anyone who wanted to help out my wonderful best friend and partner, Gary...

A few nights ago we were riding our lime scooters on Granby Street in a shared bike lane when a driver impatiently tried to go around us... she was in the process of crossing over into the opposite lane when she clipped Gary and he was thrown onto the windshield and then landed on the ground. 

When I realized what happened I ran towards him and tried to assess him and his injuries. He was barely conscious, not moving, and bleeding profusely from the back of his head. Meanwhile, the lady was yelling at him and unapologetic. I took my shirt off and tried to stop his bleeding. When the ambulance arrived 8 minutes later, he was talking a little bit. 

He is hurting all over but no broken bones. He did receive stitches and 9 staples to the back of his head. The emergency room bills and possible physical therapy for his shoulder and hip pain im sure is gonna cost some money. His brand new phone was damaged, watch, and his only suit were ruined. 

Gary is a Norfolk police officer ("one of the good ones" i might add) and the support from the community would be wonderful even if its a few dollars here and there. 

The lady was not charged as of yet because there were no witnesses. I was ahead of him when it happened
