Hello! My name is Gary Carrington Jr., and I’m an 8th grader with a big passion for learning, leadership, and exploring the world.

I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to travel to London with WorldStrides, an educational program I first joined in 5th grade as a Junior Leader at one of their conferences. That experience inspired me to keep learning and growing and now, I’ve been selected to take part in this exciting international trip to London!

This journey will help me explore history, culture, and global perspectives in a hands-on way. I’ll get to visit places like Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, and the Tower of London, while also earning high school credits that will give me a head start on my academic path.

WorldStrides creates immersive educational experiences that help students like me become more independent, confident, and globally minded. This journey will help me develop skills in problem-solving, cultural awareness, leadership and academic excellence.
