I’m the mom of Gary Bruce. With deep sadness in my heart, my son is on life support. He was admitted into the hospital on June 5th, diagnosed with pneumonia and DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis). My son has Type 1 diabetes, for those that know him. Unfortunately, my son had a turn of events on Friday and was put on life support early Saturday afternoon. He is still on life support as of today, June 10.

I’ve never had to do a GoFundMe before, but I know that my son, his girlfriend, and my 4-year-old grandson could use the financial help due to my son being their only source of income. I am asking for help to relieve some financial burden off of my son's household while he is in the hospital and when he regains consciousness and over his healing process. The doctor says that we still have a long way to go to start the recovery process. If you can please help with anything, his family and I would greatly appreciate it.

(I have included a picture of my son with my grandson when he was healthy. I didn’t feel it was appropriate to post a picture of how he looks on the ventilator and on 9 different tubes hooked up to him with meds, insulin drip, vitamins, and medications.) We appreciate any support. Please share.
