Hey everyone,

I know many of you already know about the situation Gary and I have been dealing with. We’ve both been out of work for a couple of years now. I’ve continued searching for a job, and that search is still ongoing. Unfortunately, Gary’s situation hasn’t been resolved yet, and the money I had been relying on to get us through this difficult period ran out quite some time ago. My unemployment benefits have long since been exhausted, and we simply can’t make ends meet on Gary’s retirement income alone.

So, I’m putting my ego aside and reaching out to the people who have always been there for us, hoping to raise enough to buy us a little more time until I can get back on my feet financially.

Asking for help isn’t easy for me, but I’m incredibly fortunate to have some of the best friends and family anyone could ever ask for. You’ve supported me and Gary through good times and difficult ones, and you’ve never let us down. If you’re in a position to help us out, no matter how much, it would mean more to us than I can really put into words.

And if you’re able to come out to the karaoke show I’ve been hosting with RAB on Wednesday nights at The Lighthouse Restaurant and Lounge, that would help us out as well. It’s a great time, and I’m up there singing requests, so at the very least, we can have some fun together. Consider it a win/win!

I truly believe things will get better. We all go through difficult seasons in life, and if Gary and I have ever been rich in any way, it has always been in the love, friendship, and support we’ve received from all of you.
