Helping Gary & Lisa — Green Bay's Own

Gary and Lisa have spent their entire lives rooted in Green Bay, loving their community and showing up for others without hesitation. After more than 40 years together, they are now facing the greatest challenge of their lives — and it's our turn to show up for them.

Gary was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. His wife Lisa is currently in remission from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Two fighters, one household, and a road ahead that requires all the support they can get.

Many of you know Gary from Los Banditos, where he has worked faithfully for over 40 years. You may know Lisa from her 37+ years as a CNA, dedicating herself to caring for others — most of that time at San Luis Manor — until her own health required her to step away in 2024. You might also recognize them as the quiet caretakers of Moravian Cemetery on Babcock Rd, where they tend the grounds with love and pride, making sure it remains a place of peace and beauty.

Gary has continued working as long as he is able, but with treatments ahead, that may not be possible for much longer. This fundraiser is to help cover medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and everyday living costs while they focus on healing.
