Rebuilding Home and Heart: Support Gary and Kimie Calcagno After Oklahoma Wildfire Tragedy

On March 14, 2025, a devastating wildfire tore through Oklahoma, leaving destruction in its path. Among those affected were Gary and Kimie Calcagno, who lost their home and all they held dear. In an instant, the place they built together—filled with memories, love, and irreplaceable treasures—was reduced to ashes.

This loss is beyond material; it is deeply personal. Among the countless cherished belongings destroyed was the incredible artwork of Gary’s late father, Dr. Nick Calcagno, a renowned artist whose pieces held not only artistic but profound sentimental value. These works were irreplaceable, carrying his father’s spirit, creativity, and legacy. While we cannot restore those one-of-a-kind pieces, we can come together to help Gary and Kimie rebuild their home, their sanctuary and their sense of stability.

For those who know Gary, you know the unwavering dedication he has poured into the Oklahoma State Cowboy football and wrestling programs as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. For more than 20 years, he has shaped young athletes with strength and resilience. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him and Kimie with that same Cowboy spirit—to lift them up in this time of unimaginable loss and help them start anew.

We are calling on all friends, Welch Wildcats, the Cowboy Nation, and kind-hearted souls to stand with Gary and Kimie as they rebuild from the ashes. Every donation—no matter the size—will help them restore their home and find hope in the midst of heartbreak.

If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this campaign and sending prayers, love, and support their way. Together, we can show them that home is not just a place, but the people who stand beside you when you need it most.

With gratitude and hope,
