On February 27, in the early morning hours, Gary's house was completely destroyed by fire. Thankfully, he and his dog Ginger were not at home when this happened. However, Gary lost everything, all of his clothes, his work scrubs, medications, groceries, dog food, and day-to-day necessities. In addition, he lost all of his family pictures, heirlooms, and military memorabilia from his service in the Navy.
