Following the recent earthquake in Venezuela, Grupo Andino de Rescate (GAR), a volunteer rescue organization based in Mérida, is organizing a relief brigade to support the affected communities.
For more than fifty years, GAR has been made up of dedicated volunteers trained in mountain rescue, search and rescue, pre-hospital emergency care, and disaster response. While their primary mission is serving the Venezuelan Andes, their members are also highly qualified to assist in natural disaster response and humanitarian relief operations.
My name is Jesus A León Monsalve. I am from Mérida, Venezuela, Member No. 208 of Grupo Andino de Rescate. I created this campaign to directly support this organization and help our volunteer brigade deploy to the affected areas and provide assistance to those in need.
To respond safely and effectively, we need to raise funds to cover transportation, fuel, rescue equipment, medical supplies, personal protective equipment, communications, food, and other essential resources required for the mission.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help our team reach the affected communities and provide critical assistance during this difficult time.
If you are unable to donate, you can still make a meaningful difference by sharing this campaign with your family, friends, and social media communities.
