Garrison's Barbershop Support Fund
Donation protected
If there is one thing this pandemic has taught us is that you don't know what is possible until it happens. Well, it's happening! As the owner of Garrison's, I never thought I would have to close our doors for something like this and it's a real heartbreaker.
We have 11 barbers and support staff that are relying on Garrison's to be there for them now and when this is all over. Then there are our vendors like the product suppliers, bookkeeper, cleaners and even neighbouring restaurants and coffee shops that need small businesses like ours to stay alive so they can remain open.
Your donation helps pay for rent and operating costs.
We started this campaign because concerned clients had reached out offering financial help to cover operating costs like rent and insurance. Government programs may provide some financial relief to the barbers, but there are few funding options for businesses that don't require going into significant debt. This campaign seemed like a great way to involve the people who are as much a part of Garrison's as the actual staff.
The early donor catches the first haircuts.
As a little motivation, the first 100 donations, whether $5 or $50, will be invited to prebook before we open the schedule for general appointments. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone both financially and emotionally so please feel no obligation. We are already grateful for your past business.
It will be great to see you back in the Shop.
We want to keep this business going for you, the barbers and the community. We want to hear your stories about the 4 languages you learned, or how you refinished your living room floors with nothing but a nail file. We will be sure to notice (or not) the the 15 lbs you lost (or gained), and full immunity will be granted on the DIY haircuts.
We are grateful for our fantastic clients and look forward to seeing you back in the Shop. Stay well, stay home, and thank you for your support.
