My names Garrett, I have been living with LVH for 4 years now. What LVH is, is the chambers of your heart become thick and can’t pump blood efficiently. The LVH has worsened and caused diastolic dysfunction recently. I have been in and out of the hospital for 6 months. With over 20 trips to the hospital, including 4 hospitalizations I haven’t been able to work or do anything that I once loved. I have applied for disability and am awaiting a decision. The drs have me on medication to help with the situation, but it feels very bad and it’s very scary. I’ve had two lung procedures including a broncoscopy and a thoracentesis. I had a plurel effusion pushing into my right lung causing a partial collapse and was making me cough up thick, dark blood for 2 weeks. They had to drain that and go into my lungs to make sure there wasn’t any active bleeding. My heart skips beats all the time and I feel it every time it happens. It’s really stressful and really uncomfortable. I am currently awaiting results from a recent lung function test and my 4th holter monitor test. I’ve recently had an echocardiogram, tons of ct scans, bloodwork, chest X-rays, and I have no health insurance. Not only are my medical bills stacking up, but my living expenses are also getting to where I can’t afford them. I’ve recently reached out to local chairties for help because I heard they can help with rent and and give the money straight to your landlord. A friend of mine was talking about possibly setting up a benefit show, but until then this is the only way to donate unless it was directly to my cashapp or PayPal.
