Hello and Hafa Adai to everyone!
I'd like to take a moment to introduce my wonderful husband, Garren Manglona Quitugua. Born in Saipan raised in Rota. He is truly one of the kindest and most loving people I know. His compassion for others and unwavering support have made such a positive impact on my life and the lives of those around him. Our entire family feels lucky to have him by our side. Unfortunately, my husband has been going through a lot of medical issues in the past years. Even with everything he has gone through. He still manages to wake up in the morning with a smile on his face that is very infectious. However, with the grace of God, we were fortunate to have moved to Boston, Massachusetts from Saipan in 2022 to seek a better medical health care system. My husband is in the Mass General Hospital Kidney Transplant Program, which is a pioneer in organ transplant since 1963. The Kidney Transplant Program at Massachusetts General Hospital uses leading-edge technology to provide individualized care for patients with advanced kidney disease.
My husband is undergoing a series of medical evaluations for the past year and a half for pre-kidney transplant, required by Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He meets with a wide range of specialists, undergoes testing and blood work, and will eventually receive medical committee approval. This journey has changed our family's life forever. However, we are staying positive with the love, support, and prayers from wonderful family and friends.
We started this GoFundMe campaign to cover unexpected, excess medical bills and co-pays not covered by our insurance. Thank you for all the love and support and most especially your prayers.
