Support Garet's Battle Against Stage 4 Lung Cancer

This GoFundMe is here to help the Claborn Family with expenses for Garet. Garet was diagnosed with Small Cell Stage 4 lung cancer on 10/18/2024. This is a very aggressive, fast-growing cancer that the doctor said could have just appeared in the last couple of months or even weeks ago.

It all started on 10/15 when he couldn't breathe and was rushed to Shannon. Shannon saw the mass on his lungs and sent him the next morning to Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin. After getting three stents into his lungs to open them, they started with tons of tests and biopsies. Garet started his first round of chemo immediately on Saturday to begin shrinking the mass. The ICU team at Dell Seton has been so informative and helpful. We are thankful for the doctors, nurses, and medical staff that have been with Garet.

As you can imagine, expenses are starting to add up for Brook, Pam, and the girls as they travel back and forth to Austin. All funds collected will be used for our family's travel expenses as well as hospital bills for Garet.
