Hello everyone

My name is Gameedah Riffel and I am honored to be the Golden Ticket Winner of the 2025 Dessert Category at the World Food Championships MENA. This October, I will proudly represent the Middle East and North Africa region at the World Food Championships Finals in Indiana, United States.

This opportunity is the result of nearly 20 years of dedication to my passion. I am reaching out with a humble request for your support. My teammate and I are currently raising funds to cover our travel expenses, and any contribution would mean the world to us.I am a South African expat who has been living in the United Arab Emirates for the past five years. I hold an Honours Degree in Food Science and a Diploma in Patisserie and Baking from the International Center of Culinary Arts in Dubai. My love for food started when I was just nine years old, and ever since, I have been working toward becoming the best I can be in this field. Food is more than a career for me. It is a lifelong passion rooted in creativity, culture, and the beautiful connection between science and flavor.

Representing both the MENA region and my home country of South Africa on the global stage is a dream come true. But dreams need support to become reality. That is why I am asking for your help.
