Our dear friends, Galo Rojas and his wife Tammy, are facing a battle no family ever expects to fight. After years of quietly managing health challenges, Galo is now in end-stage kidney failure. His doctors have made it clear: without a transplant, his time is limited. Dialysis can only do so much, and his health has been declining rapidly. In the middle of this unimaginable moment, Tammy stepped forward with a courage that can only come from love. After extensive testing, she learned that she is a match — and she has chosen to donate one of her kidneys to save her husband’s life.

Both Galo and Tammy will undergo major surgery and face long recoveries. During that time, neither will be able to work. This family is doing everything they can to stay strong, but the financial strain is overwhelming.
