FINALLY!

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share something personal and important regarding my son’s case in France, and to give an update to those who have been supporting us along the way. First, I want to say thank you for every donation, every prayer, every message, and every act of kindness so far. Your support has meant a lot to me, as this has been an unthinkable, unpredictable journey.

The trial is beginning soon, and I’ve been told that the only way for me to attend is to be there in person. They are not allowing any remote or Zoom attendance, so if I want to stand for my son, I must travel to France. I am now preparing for that trip and doing everything I can to make sure I am able to be there for him.

At the same time, our family is in the middle of buying a home. This is a step we’ve taken to build stability for our boys and create a healthier, safer future—but it has also brought significant financial strain in this season. With the travel costs, lodging, and the retainer for a French lawyer, the weight of everything happening at once has become extremely heavy.

Reaching out like this is very humbling for me, because we are doing everything we can on our end to keep our family moving forward and to bring Akheel back home. But right now, we really need help from the people around us.
