Hello, I'm Gail Wendorf of Gail Wendorf Studio.

I have been tasked with raising funds for a mural in the town of Taos, NM, with a $14,000 total budget. The wall is 12.5' x 28', and will be in homage to the great painter, Oscar E. Berninghaus, one of the founding members of the Taos Society of Painters, who first visited Taos, NM in 1899. The above image is a scale maquette (or "cartoon") of the image, with an addition of a wagon in the trees to the right.

I have permission from the Town of Taos Historic Preservation Committee (the wall is in the historic overlay of the town). I begin painting on June 1, 2025. I can't before because of weather.
