Hi my name is Tiffany Bednarik and I am trying to raise funds for my son, Gage Bednarik, a 28 year-old firefighter proudly serving the City of Niceville for the last seven years. Recently during a routine body scan at Work, Gage received a positive stress test and was immediately instructed to see a cardiologist. He underwent an EKG and an echocardiogram. and on December 30 he had a heart catheterization. The results were life-changing – Gage was found to have four significant heart blockages, Because the severity of his condition, Gage must undergo open heart surgery Wednesday, January 7.

As a result, he will be out of work indefinitely while he recovers. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Dudley, Gages cardiologist, who kindly fit him into an already busy schedule and expedited the testing process to quickly determine what was wrong. His compassion and urgency during this frightening time meant more than we could express.

Gage loves his job and community and his greatest hope is to return to doing what he loves, once he is healthy and cleared to work. Unfortunately, being out of work means a sudden loss of income while everyday bills and expenses continue. We humbly ask for financial assistance to help cover
