Gaby B. has always been the friend who shows up, especially for animals. When her beloved cat Pomi fell suddenly ill, she acted immediately, doing everything possible to save him. Despite her efforts and the vet team’s care, Pomi passed away.

The emergency bill for his care (covering tests, medication, and hospitalization) came at a time when Gaby is also working toward buying her first home. This has been a year of immense loss for Gaby, and we (her friends and colleagues) want to show up for her the way she has always shown up for others.

This fundraiser will help cover Pomi’s final medical costs, easing the burden so Gaby can focus on healing and moving forward. Any contribution, big or small, is a way to honor the love between Gaby and Pomi and to offer her the care she’s given so freely to others.
