Hi, I’m Serena. I’m a mom to a bright, beautiful 1-year-old named Gabriella.

Earlier this month, Gabriella was diagnosed with high-risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), a serious and aggressive form of childhood cancer. After over a week in the hospital, we’re finally heading home to begin her long-term treatment.

This is the last thing I ever thought I’d be writing, but so many people have asked how they can help. The truth is, this has completely changed our lives. I’ll be caring for Gabriella full-time as we navigate treatment, side effects, and everything in between.
