Hi y’all! My name is Gabriela. I’m a mom of two and aspiring publishing professional. I recently got accepted into the Columbia University publishing course at the Oxford location. When I applied I did not realize my financial situation would change. I had to quit my job to be a stay at home mom. I love it but now I’m trying to save and sell what I can for this amazing opportunity to better my career. As a first gen graduate Latina in America, I’d really like to attend as I feel this would be a great experience to add to my resume and my skills as I continue applying to step into the publishing industry. Part of the tuition is raised, I just need 2,000 more to get to the finish line. It is due the 31st. While it’s hard to ask, I’m choosing not to let this go quietly.
