My name is Ramiro, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family has ever faced. This past Saturday night, my brother, Gabriel Garza, was the victim of a devastating hit-and-run accident here in San Antonio.

Gabriel and his friend, Daniel Loredo, were simply trying to help by jump-starting a disabled vehicle when a dark-colored Jeep suddenly crashed into them. The impact was severe and threw both of them into the roadway. The driver didn’t stop and fled the scene, leaving them seriously injured.

Gabriel suffered a fractured left knee, along with severe injuries to his lower back and pelvis that required surgery. Daniel was also critically injured and has already undergone multiple surgeries around three and continues to fight through recovery.

Both of them are currently in the hospital, facing a long and painful road ahead. This unexpected tragedy has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on both of their families. Medical bills, surgeries, rehabilitation, and time away from work are quickly adding up.

We are asking for any support you can give whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page to help both Gabriel and Daniel during this difficult time.

Gabriel and Daniel are both hardworking, caring individuals who were simply trying to help someone in need. They didn’t deserve this, but we are staying hopeful and trusting in their recovery.

Mi nombre es Ramiro, y me dirijo a ustedes en uno de los momentos más difíciles que mi familia ha enfrentado. El pasado sábado por la noche, mi hermano, Gabriel Garza, fue víctima de un trágico accidente de choque y fuga aquí en San Antonio.

Gabriel y su amigo, Daniel Loredo, estaban simplemente tratando de ayudar a alguien al pasar corriente a un vehículo descompuesto cuando una Jeep de color oscuro los atropelló repentinamente. El impacto fue muy fuerte y los lanzó hacia la carretera. El conductor no se detuvo a ayudar y huyó del lugar, dejándolos gravemente heridos.

Gabriel sufrió una fractura en la rodilla izquierda, además de lesiones graves en la parte baja de la espalda y la pelvis, por las cuales tuvo que ser sometido a cirugía. Daniel también resultó gravemente herido y ha pasado por múltiples cirugías alrededor de tres y continúa luchando por su recuperación.

Ambos se encuentran actualmente hospitalizados enfrentando un camino largo y doloroso hacia su recuperación. Esta tragedia inesperada ha causado una gran carga emocional y financiera para nuestras familias. Los gastos médicos, cirugías, rehabilitación y la pérdida de ingresos siguen aumentando.
