Support Gabino Lopez's Path to Recovery
Donation protected
Gabino Lopez is a talented young stone mason whose life changed on August 25, following a devastating car accident in Mariposa, CA. He is currently in the hospital, recovering from surgery and a severe spinal injury.
Gabino has been a kind-hearted public servant, working on Trail Crews for the National Park Service over the past 12 years, developing his passion for stone masonry and the outdoors. Gabino stresses the importance of quality in all parts of his life, including personal health, work, family and friendships. He has been an invaluable team member, hard worker and avid learner. Professionally, Gabino has made his presence known amongst the stone working community as an extremely talented and determined young mason with immense potential for Mediterranean style rock work and stone carving. He has studied stone masonry across the globe and regularly returns to Ventura CA on the weekends and off seasons, to practice his beloved stone carving amongst friends. Gabino is always setting up for the next rock, most recently excited to begin a new Bay Area private masonry job in the coming weeks.
Gabino now has a new plan. He will soon move to a rehabilitation facility outside LA, to redirect all of his efforts to recovering as fully as possible, but nothing is certain. There will be many expenses now and, in the future, including out-of-pocket medical fees, specialized mobility equipment, and accessible housing. A donation of any amount will help Gabino to solely focus on his recovery journey, and make sure he has the equipment he needs to remain the active and independent person he has always been.
Thank You in advance for any contributions to Gabino's recovery.
