Gabe, our local Safeway Meat Man, is known for his infectious personality and the warmth he brings to everyone he meets. Just days after marrying his beloved Christa, Gabe came home from work to relax with his new bride. Suddenly, he collapsed and stopped breathing. Christa, acting quickly and bravely, called 911 and performed CPR until the ambulance arrived. Gabe was then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, where he is now fighting for his life after suffering heart failure and cardiac arrest.

Gabe is not only an amazing son, father, and grandfather to a beautiful baby girl, but also a pillar of support to his family, friends, and even those he barely knows.
