On July 26th, 2025, while on a family vacation at Torch Lake in Michigan, Gabriel Harner suffered a devastating accident that resulted in a broken neck (C4–C6). He was rushed to a nearby small community hospital, where the seriousness of his injury was confirmed. He was then urgently transferred to the nearest trauma center—seven hours away from home—where he underwent emergency spinal surgery.
Although the surgery went well, Gabe is now facing an incredibly difficult recovery. He can currently only stand for a few seconds at a time and has not yet regained the ability to walk. His medical team is working tirelessly, but it’s clear that Gabe will need an extended stay at an inpatient rehab center to manage pain and improve mobility.
Gabe is only 23 years old and the sole provider for himself and his wife. They recently moved to Columbus, Ohio, for Gabe’s job—placing them two hours away from any close family. Now, with no ability to work, they are facing overwhelming medical bills, travel expenses, and day-to-day living costs.
If you know Gabe, you know he’s the first to lend a hand and the last to ask for one. But now, he and his wife need our help—whether that’s through financial support or your continued prayers.
Please consider donating if you’re able. And if not, sharing this and lifting Gabe up in your prayers means the world. This will be a long road to recovery, but with love, support, and faith, he won’t walk it alone.
