Support Gabe's First Record with Unit 229 and Kevin Moloney

Hi friends!

My son, Gabe , and his bandmates are raising money for their first record. The band is called Unit 229. They have written a few originals and are playing some classic standards. My good friend Kevin Moloney

will produce the album. Kevin has been the producer of Sinéad O’Connors album Lion and the Cobra and an engineer on the first five U2 albums.

The album will be recorded in 2 days at Citizen Vinyl studios in downtown Asheville with musicians Henry Candler on Trumpet/piano,

Micah Phillip on upright Bass, Espen Raustol on electric guitar and Pierce Ruch on the drums. Many of the band members, parents and family members are contributing, but we still need more to make it a reality. These boys have just graduated from high school and are going to college in the fall. This recording session will be a really great life experience for them and for all of us to hear because they are extraordinarily talented.
