My dear friend and business partner, Peter, and his family received some of the hardest news a family can receive last week - their son, Gabe, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) while serving for the Marines in San Diego, California. This is a rapidly growing cancer, and their lives immediately turned upside-down upon receiving the news, as chemo needed to start before they could wrap their minds around what was happening.

Logistically, Gabe will continue to stay in San Diego for treatment for some time, with hopes that he can be brought home to continue this treatment that will last over two years.
