Support Gabe Hudson's Eagle Project for Olympia High School

My name is Gabe Hudson, and I am fundraising for my Eagle project.

As a Scout with Troop 222 out of Lacey and a Junior at Olympia High School, I am excited to do a project that gives back to the school's Track and Field program and the distance running team.

At Olympia High School, there is a track storage room underneath the stadium that has been cluttered for years due to a lack of appropriate storage shelves and options. This makes it harder for the hundreds of OHS track athletes to use the room during track meets and practice.

The room is cluttered due to the lack of shelving and bins, which makes it harder for track athletes to find what they need during the track season.

My project aims to fix these issues by building new storage shelves (25-30 feet) and creating dedicated storage spaces for track and field gear. I will also remove what is in there first to allow the room to be remodeled and then bring most of it back organized on the new shelves that I will build.

I will also create dedicated places for other sports to use the space seasonally.

Olympia High School is excited to be working with me on this project, and I am excited about being able to give back to my school's Track and Distance running programs.

Funds raised through this fundraiser will purchase the materials, supplies, and tools needed to complete this project.
