Support Gabe: From Grief to Graduation and Beyond

We are reaching out on behalf of Gabe Uy, a close family friend, a remarkable high school senior who has recently faced an unimaginable loss. Just a week before his high school graduation, Gabe's beloved mother lost her battle with cancer. As a single mother, she was not only his rock but also his biggest supporter and cheerleader.

Gabe has been a dedicated student-athlete, participating in both football and wrestling throughout his high school years. He has excelled in his academics and sports, always pushing himself to be the best he can be. Gabe hopes to attend Sussex Community College to pursue a degree in Health Sciences. He is passionate about entering the healthcare field, inspired by his desire to help others and make a positive impact on his community.

With his mother’s passing, and no other family in the area, Gabe is now facing significant financial challenges. Along with the emotional toll, he must also find a way to cover household bills, living expenses, and the costs associated with his college education. Despite his resilience and determination, this burden is too great for him to bear alone.
