Gabby and Sara Dominguez, two of the kindest people I know, were recently involved in a horrific car accident on their way back to our town. Gabby is currently in critical condition, unconscious, and facing the possibility of being flown or transported by ambulance to Springfield for further care, depending on the road conditions. Sara, meanwhile, is being hospitalized overnight as doctors monitor her recovery. The shock and uncertainty of this situation have deeply affected everyone who knows and loves them.
In addition to their injuries, Gabby and Sara are heartbroken as one of their beloved puppies is still missing from the wreck. They currently have one of their dogs safe, but are desperately searching for the other. This adds another layer of worry and sadness to an already overwhelming time.
Both Gabby and Sara are pillars of our community. Gabby serves as a police officer, dedicating her time to community outreach and always going above and beyond to help others. Her compassion and kindness have touched countless lives. Sara works at the closest prison outside of town in California, where she helps people every day. Their commitment to serving others is truly inspiring, and now they need our support more than ever.
The medical expenses they are facing will be significant, from hospital stays to potential emergency transport and ongoing care. I am asking for your help—whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this fundraiser with others. Every bit of support will make a difference for Gabby and Sara as they begin the long road to recovery. Thank you for standing with them in this difficult time.
Go fund me update from Sara and Gabby themselves <3 !!!!!!!
We want to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of love, support, and donations we have received. Your generosity has allowed us to focus on Gabby’s surgeries and recovery without being overwhelmed by the cost. Over the last couple of days, Gabby and I have both had multiple CT scans, x-rays, and MRIs to address a variety of medical traumas resulting from the accident. Gabby has also successfully completed major surgery to reconnect her neck and spine as well as address her broken arm. As we face this road of recovery, we are truly humbled by the support of our community and eager to return home.
