I have known Gabbi for over 20 years, and in all of that time she has always been one of my biggest supporters, as well as someone who is constantly trying to make other people happy. She is empathetic and compassionate almost to a fault. She feels deeply, and she shows up for the people she loves. She makes the world better with each relationship she builds. She is also a photographer who loves using her art to make people feel seen, and it’s such a big part of who she is.

Right now, she’s in the hospital with double pneumonia and isn’t sure when she’ll be able to go home. She wants to be able to get back to her photography and her work, but we don’t know yet how this will impact that or for how long. Not being able to create the way she wants to has been hard.

This is all coming after an already overwhelming season. Tyler’s motorcycle accident. Losing her mom. Just more than anyone should have to carry at once. And through it all, she has still tried to be there for everyone else.

At home, she and Tyler are caring for their three ducks and two dogs and doing their best to keep everything afloat. The funds raised here will go toward medical debt and household bills so they can have some breathing room while she focuses on healing.
