Today I come before you and ask for prayers in hope, healing, and to open your hearts to help alleviate the financial burden that we are experiencing while Gilbert seeks medical attention and training for the ongoing dialysis treatment he will need until he receives a transplant or is able to return to work.
My husband, Gilbert “Chino” Huerta, has fought kidney disease for the majority of his adult life. It has come to a point where he has started dialysis.
He has not been able to work and hopes to get back to work soon and start a “new normal” lifestyle.
Gilbert is a humble and loyal man, and it has taken a lot for him to allow me to advocate on his behalf.
