Girls Global Academy is the only all girls charter high school in Washington, DC. GGA is designed with the particular needs of girls of color in mind; as a result, it will positively impact all girls. Our mission is to foster pathways to lead and learn.

Because She Matters
Women make up only 28% of the workforce in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers. Of this percentage, only 5% are women of color. This is the result of few dedicated programs developing pathways for girls of color as young as high school. 

Girls Global Academy is the premier training ground for high school girls in the areas of global citizenship, Business and Engineering in Washington, DC. At Girls Global Academy, they provide a global education that ignites empowerment and develops the confidence to influence change for global benefit. They close the gender and racial STEM gaps by providing pathways for their girls to see what's possible and have the tools to make it a reality.
