It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Blanca Arroyo on Monday, July 21. Blanca was a beloved instructional aide who dedicated over 12 years of service to the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Her compassion, kindness, and commitment touched the lives of countless students, staff, and families at Hilltop Elementary and Harborside Elementary. Blanca is deeply loved by her family and community. Her sister, Martha, is also an instructional aide at Sotomayor Elementary and a cherished member of the Rogers Elementary family. Their mother, Maria, recently retired from Aspire/Daly Elementary, where she made a lasting impact.

As the Arroyo family begins to process this heartbreaking loss, we are reaching out for support to help cover funeral, memorial, and related expenses. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly to supporting the Arroyo family during this incredibly difficult time.
