Hi, my name is Rosan Maharjan, and I had the honor of being a close friend of the late and dearly respected Madan Bhattarai Dai.

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I share the heartbreaking news of Madan Dai’s sudden passing on June 27, 2025, in Denison, TX. His departure has left a deep void in our hearts and in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Madan Dai was more than just a friend — he was a warm, kind, and compassionate soul whose presence lit up every room he entered. He touched so many lives with his humility, generosity, and unwavering kindness. His sudden loss has shaken his family and words cannot express the sorrow we feel.

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of his grieving family to help cover funeral and related expenses during this incredibly difficult time. This loss was unexpected, and the family is facing both emotional and financial challenges as they navigate through their grief and make final arrangements for our beloved Madan Dai.
