This GoFundMe is being organized on behalf of my 84-year-old great-aunt and our family to help cover the funeral and burial expenses for her son following his tragic and unexpected passing.

Our family is grieving the tragic loss of a beloved son, nephew, grandfather, and family member who was recently the victim of a homicide. Although he had experienced homelessness for the past several years, he was deeply loved and never forgotten by his family.

His 84-year-old mother lives on a fixed income and is unable to afford the unexpected costs of a funeral and burial. The estimated funeral expenses are approximately $16,000, not including the cost of a headstone. While our family will do everything we can to cover the remaining expenses, we are seeking $10,000 to help ease the financial burden and ensure he receives the dignified farewell he deserves.
