It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Cynthia Garcia and Jaslin Avila. Cynthia, Jaslin, and three of their cousins were involved in a tragic accident that took the lives of Cynthia and Jaslin's beautiful souls.

Cynthia was a joyful and kindhearted soul. Cynthia's hard working and kind soul guided her to pursue a teaching career which she was working on obtaining also while working multiple jobs. Cynthia enjoyed helping others become the best they could be and helped them find their true self. When Cynthia wasn't working with kids, she loved spending time with her friends, cousins, and family. Although Cynthia was the baby girl of her family, she was the oldest of her siblings, and a role model for her younger siblings and her younger cousins. Cynthia guided her cousins and ensured each one knew they were deeply loved by her.

Jaslin was a very outgoing and bright-spirited soul. She always ensured all the people around her would have the best day they could ever have. Jaslin was always a very hard-working person no matter the circumstance. Jaslin's hard work paid off, and she was able to gain a scholarship to Northern Arizona University where she was working on obtaining her Master's in Athletic Training. With only two weeks left, Jaslin was set to graduate on December 12th of 2025. Jaslin like her older cousin Cynthia was the oldest in her family and a role model for her younger siblings and cousins.

Cynthia and Jaslin's bond was unmatchable although they were cousins, they grew up together like two sisters. Their love for each other was unbreakable which created a large bond that led them to do everything together. It was as if God knew they were essential to one another, so he called them home together.
