On February 20th, 2017 our community and the Brazil family lost a very important member. Lee Brazil's life was lost due to an accident. 

The Cuesta College community remembers Lee for the following things:
* Supporting his son, Elias, each and EVERY class by attending class with him and participating in all classes
* Lee stated that his life's purpose was to help others
* Lee brought oatmeal cookies to every class to share with all the students and staff
* Lee contributed brilliant ideas to our classes; he was an incredibly thoughtful and gifted man
* Lee spent so much of his time simply talking to people with disabilities to show them that their voices matter
* Supporting Elias as his support staff throughout Elias' life as well as supporting others in need through his work as an IHSS worker and simply, as a community member
* The love Lee professed for Julia, his wife
* Lee had so much pride and love for his entire family both near and far

Our goal is to raise money to help the Brazil family with funeral expenses as well as provide funds to cover for loss of income during this tragic time.

We are community. We love you Lee, Elias, Julia and your entire family.
