With heavy hearts, we share that Scott passed away Wednesday night after years of battling kidney failure and other health complications. Scott had been battling kidney failure for years, facing each setback with strength and courage. Despite his resilience, his body could no longer keep up.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help with the costs for a celebration of life that will be held at a later date, once the family has had time to grieve, process, and thoughtfully plan. The money raised will also provide funding in the short-term as Christy navigates their long-term financial future. Any additional money raised beyond their immediate needs will go into a college fund for Ben and Max, as this was something that Scott was dedicated to providing.
