SUPPORT FUND FOR ROB AND CARLY GOLDTHORPE

On Tuesday, February 1st, Rob was rushed by ambulance to IMC Hospital with severe breathing complications. Upon arrival, he was admitted to the ICU where he was diagnosed with Cardio Myopathy and told he was in heart and liver failure with no real answers as to why.

The following morning, a blood clot dislodged from his heart and traveled into his leg causing total numbness. He was taken into immediate surgery to remove the blood clot and save his leg. Throughout the day, other blood clots were found in various parts of Rob’s body and was put on blood thinners.

The last few days, Rob has shown small improvements, but due to extremely low blood pressure and elevated heart rate, they have not been able to perform the scans and tests necessary to determine what has caused this.

We are praying that tomorrow will be the day his amazing team of doctors can run tests and get the answers they need to formulate a plan.

Rob and Carly are facing a future of overwhelming medical bills. We are calling on our loving community, family and friends near and far, neighbors and co-workers to shoulder some of this burden during this incredibly scary time.

Rob is simply the best. He is truly one of the most loving, compassionate, gentle souls and we love him dearly. Let’s rally and help him get back on his feet! We love you Rob and Carly!♥️
