Support Fund For Our Friend Oliver!

Recently, our dear friend Oliver Olderog was snowboarding and was in an unfortunate accident. While bombing down the mountain, his board clipped a hidden stump propelling him into a tree. The collision resulted in a traumatic brain injury along with some minor brain bleeding and swelling. After spending a month in a combination of icu, pcu and a rehab center, Oliver is finally home in Denver. 

While, he was very lucky and is on a great trajectory for his recovery,  Oliver still has a lot of work ahead. He will have months of outpatient rehab to heal fully and his mother, Joan has taken off work in Austin to be with him throughout this process. 

So, while he works hard to recover, it would be wonderful if Oliver didn't have to stress about his financial situation. He has good insurance that covered his hospital stays and treatment, however the deductible was $7,900.00 alone. In addition, his out patient treatment will not be sufficiently covered by insurance, so will be out of pocket. Finally, it will be some time before he can return to work.
