Hi everyone, my name is Vincent, founder of Fujiwara Tofu Cafe.

What started as a small passion project inspired by Initial D grew into one of California's most unique destinations for car enthusiasts, anime fans, and our local community. Over the years, Fujiwara became much more than a café—it became a place where friendships were made, car clubs gathered, families visited, and thousands of people shared their passion for car culture.

After five unforgettable years, we had to close our original location when our lease ended. The biggest challenge wasn't the community—we were incredibly fortunate to have one of the most passionate communities anyone could ask for. The challenge was our location, we need a place where we won't be bothering surrounding businesses. Even after closing our storefront, the support never stopped. Recently, we began searching for a new location, and after sharing our journey online, we were overwhelmed by the number of people asking how they could help bring Fujiwara back.

That encouragement is what inspired us to launch this campaign.

Our goal isn't just to reopen a café.

Our goal is to build Fujiwara 2.0—a permanent destination for the automotive and Japanese culture community.

We envision a space that goes far beyond cars and boba. Fujiwara 2.0 will be designed as a community hub where people can gather, create memories, and share their passion with cars / anime. In addition to our café, we want to create a venue that can host regular car meets, meet-and-greet events with professional drivers and automotive personalities, pop-up markets featuring local vendors and artists, community events, and even concerts and special entertainment nights. We also plan to offer secure indoor car storage, giving enthusiasts a place to showcase and protect the cars they love.

More than anything, we want to build a place where people feel welcome—a destination where Japanese culture, cars, food, creativity, and community all come together under one roof.
