Support Fuad's Heart and Stroke Recovery

Hello all,

Recently, my family has been hit with medical hardship. My father, Fuad Podbicanin, came to America with my mother as a refugee to provide a better life for my mom, me, my brothers. Life has not been easy for him. He has given his all and everything for us to succeed.

In September of 2024, two weeks before his Birthday, my father had a heart attack and need to get a quadruple bypass heart surgery. He works at Amazon and was out of work till January. Now he suffered a major stroke in his cerebellum and is currently undergoing (hopefully) a life saving surgery. However, after surgery will require him to be out of work and go through physical therapy to recover. His state is critical and the doctors are doing everything they can to save him.

My father is a sole provider for my family. My mother is already disabled on a fixed income. I am a PhD student with a fixed income as well. I am making this go fund me page to help my parents pay the medical expenses of these two major surgeries. I am hoping that I raise enough money so my father can return home without being stressed about money.

Due to this tragic medical emergencies, we are also preparing for the worst. Please donate to help support my family and father during this stressful time.

Babo peacefully passed away on March 24, 2025. All the donations will be going towards his funeral and medical bills.
