Support FSU Students Recovering from Devastating House Fire

My name is Shea Dermody, and I'm raising funds for my best friend and her housemates to rebuild after losing everything in a house fire. At 2AM on April 29th, an off-campus apartment complex at Florida State University caught fire. Unfortunately, a beautiful puppy named Tater lost his life, but we are grateful that everyone else in the building was able to escape to safety. However, all affected FSU students are now without housing, clothes, food... the list goes on. In total, 3 buildings (11 units) were destroyed, leaving 27 students displaced. Many of the students do not have family in Florida and are without accommodation. Not to mention, this is all during finals week. I'm raising money for the group to be able to afford temporary housing as well as begin to rebuild their lives by purchasing clothes and other essentials. Of course, there are things that were lost in the fire that can never be replaced, but it is important that my dear friend and her housemates have what they need to make it through the next few months.
