Imagine you're a performing musician.
One morning you wake up and your hands are tingling.
Within days you can't feel them at all.
What will you do?
Peter Mazza's life-long dedication to playing and teaching the art of jazz guitar has touched the ears and hearts of thousands of musicians and jazz aficionados. A graduate of Julliard, Peter has expanded the traditional voice of the instrument—and he's broken down his harmonic concepts to share with others.
Perhaps you've been fortunate to take one of Peter's "Chord Melody From the Ground Up" classes? Or maybe you've attended a workshop, enjoyed a concert appearance, or marveled at the intricate arrangements on his YouTube channel. If so, you already know why the world's premier jazz artists consider Peter Mazza to be an important innovator and advocate for the preservation and evolution of jazz guitar.
So what's this fund-raiser about?
Peter Mazza has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a painful auto-immune disease that has blocked all sensation in his hands. Though the condition is curable, it can take up to a year to recover—and that's a long time to wait if you make your living playing music!
