Support Froggy’s Medical Recovery

Hi everyone! My dear friend Miss Prys’ beloved fur baby, Froggy, recently suffered some serious and unexpected health trauma, and I am making this GoFundMe to help aid his medical recovery.

From the words of Froggy’s mama, Miss Prys:

“My best bud, Froggy, started throwing up early Tuesday morning, and things quickly took a turn for the worse. He became weak, lost his (normally big) appetite, and was getting sick every hour. I hoped soo much that it was nothing serious, but by Wednesday morning—after no rest—I knew I had to take him to DoveLewis.

Turns out, my intuition was right: he had swallowed pieces of foam from the handle of a cat toy he chewed up, and it was blocking his system. He needed emergency surgery to survive. I was in shock, sobbing. This was a huge, unexpected expense, and I was overwhelmed. Thankfully, the angel, Saint Sasha, offered to set up this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden. Bless you, girl ❤️

Froggy’s my sweet prince, the best snuggler, my emotional support sweetheart, my little cosmic companion. He came into my life as a kitten in a in an unbelievable way, after a series of serendipitous events. (Some of you know the story. It’s a good one. Ask me sometime ) Our union proved to me that the “feline distribution system” is real, there ARE mysterious forces beyond the veil that place cats with their people in ways we can’t understand.

Recently, he became a big brother to Lily, his tiny, spicy lil shadow. She zooms under him when she runs (because she is that little), and they’re always curled up together. She misses her brother.

Froggy is still in the hospital recovering, they also found foam in his esophagus and nostrils (that’s working its way out naturally), plus he has a slight fever. He’ll be there for at least another night under close watch. It’s been an emotional roller coaster, and I’m still reeling, but I know he’s in the best hands.

I realize that to some, Froggy is just a cat, but to me, he’s family, my best friend, my little soul mate... He’s been there during the toughest period of my life and still sits on my lap when I pee every morning ☀️ I’ve been humbled by the kindness and generosity of my friends, it means the world to me. Surgery was a successful without complications—I just got one slightly embarrassed, naked bellied boy who would prefer not to be perceived right now The total ended up being $5,905, which was the low-end of the quote—thank the godz!!
